Rebel Wilson stars as Natalie, a young woman disenchanted with love as she mysteriously finds herself trapped inside a romantic comedy. Her only way out is to find true love.
Pam really enjoyed this parody on the standard rom-com genre. While many of the “gags” are revealed in the trailer, there’s still plenty of fun to be had. There are also a few positive messages that come out of this film that make it worthwhile!
Chuck didn’t hate it as much as he thought he would. The movie has a few clever moments – particularly the musical sequences – and the brief running time (88 minutes) works in its favor. Still, the film would have been better off with a consistent tone – being a straight musical perhaps?
