A bride’s wedding night takes a sinister turn when her eccentric new in-laws force her to take part in a terrifying game.
Chuck says: The film manages to deliver more than a few thrills and a couple of effective gross out horror moments. However, what elevates this above other genre entries is its biting social commentary as it mercilessly skewers the 1% and the lengths they go to attain and maintain their wealth. The movie becomes increasingly ridiculous as it goes and its conclusion is outlandish as well, delivering the most cathartic moment of the 2019 cinematic year.
