Chuck finds Rami Malek’s performance as Mercury to be a revelation and you can’t keep your eyes off him. Of course, the music is great, but the film doesn’t dive deeply enough into what made Mercury and the band tick to be a complete success.
Pam found the performances, particularly Malek’s to be outstanding along with the music. She feels that the PG-13 rating creates a more subtle way to tell a gritty tale, inviting a broader audience to know this talented man and group.
