When two friends realize all “faith based” films make buckets of cash, they set out on a mission to make one of their own.
Chuck says:
This independent comedy proves surprisingly smart as the script by Luke Barnett skewers religious movies, their marketing and the audiences that flock to them. The chemistry between the two leads – Tanner Thomason and Barnett – goes a long way towards sucking us in as they are quite funny together. To be sure, the movie loses its ways after the first hour and lets a major comedic opportunity go unexplored. Still, much better than it has any right to be. 2 ½ Stars. Not Rated. 92 minutes.
