Jean Grey begins to develop incredible powers that corrupt and turn her into a Dark Phoenix.  Now the X-Men will have to decide if the life of a team member is worth more than all the people living in the world.

Chuck says:

The X-Men franchise limps to a conclusion with this lifeless entry that finds director Simon Kinberg in over his head.  The story slogs from one scene to the next with the majority of the cast projecting the feeling that they wished they were somewhere else.  To be sure, the third act shows a bit of life with a genuinely exciting action scene on a runaway train but it’s far too little too late. A disappointing entry in an otherwise solid series.
