Bob, a famous novelist, seeks to write a more serious book, only to find himself tumbling down a spiral of obsession that may leave his most important relationships in shambles, including his marriage.

Pam says: Writer/director Melora Walters paints an eloquent picture of a man whose relationship is changed as he is consumed with his newest focus for a book.  James Le Gros finds just the right notes to play this part, always understated and thoughtful, as he brings insight into the pain he experiences.  Sorvino shines as his wife with her own artistic struggles and how she is ultimately effected by her husband’s obsession.  As the story unravels so too does the marriage which allows us to clearly see and feel the emotions of these two very real people.  And the ending is extraordinary, leaving me absolutely breathless.
