Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam, Oscar Isaac, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal star in the thriller depicting five ex-special forces soldiers who plan to rob a cocaine cartel boss of all his cash at his house in the Amazon jungle area of the triple borders – Peru, Brazil and Colombia.
Chuck says: On the surface this may look like just another action movie and there’s no question that it hits all of the expected points one expects from films of this sort. However, the strong cast is able to bring enough shadings to their character types to keep our interest and a surprising third act make this a winner.
Pam says: This genre never gets old and co-writer and director J.C. Chandor knows how to lay the foundation and deliver the goods in this action-packed adventure drama. The cast of characters, all with their own baggage, have a connection.
