We’ve all been here before and the writers of the script acknowledge this by referencing GroundHog Day with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell numerous times. This version does have a slightly different spin on the ageless tale, though, making it a film that will appeal to teens, but it’s not enough to make it so for adults.
