Armed with only one word, Tenet, and fighting for the survival of the entire world, a Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.

Chuck says:

Christopher Nolan’s latest mindbender contains his trademark elaborate set pieces but lacks a story that makes a lick of sense. While complex plots are welcomed, the director goes out of his to prevent the viewer from figuring out what’s going on. Scenes in which key elements are explained are purposely obscured by the film’s abusive score or sound effects that are too loud. As opposed to being an intriguing challenge that yields a satisfactory outcome, this is a manipulative exercise with the cards stacked against the audience from truly understanding it. The movie’s lack of heart doesn’t help either.
