A lonely woman befriends a group of teenagers and decides to let them party at her house. Just when the kids think their luck couldn’t get any better, things start happening that make them question the intention of their host.

Chuck says:

Though the film contains a timely theme (the longterm effects of bullying), there’s something missing from the latest from Blumhouse Pictures.  A sense of suspense is effectively built during the movie’s first hour and Octavia Spencer in the title role comes off as a sympathetic if genuinely disturbed woman. Still,  the conclusion fails to impress and leaves us wanting more.
